There was a flare of temper that was completely unlike Ignis. Oh, he had a temper alright, but it was usually harder to spark and in all honesty, he rarely felt the need to raise his voice even then. In this case, it might be easy to pass off as anger behind those words, but there was fear there.
Prompto was right. If Gladio woke up and hurt Noctis, then there would be no hope for him. Recovery would be a moot point then. He wouldn't want to get better. All he would want to do was die. Bad enough that he hurt one of them at all.
Sighing, he reached up to pinch at the bridge of his nose, idly realizing that he still didn't have his glasses on.
"Prompto's right. Until we know if the venom has run its course, we can't risk you being around him. If Dave has things he'd like your help on, then go ahead. You have my blessing as long as Cor is with you. I'll stay here and keep an eye on Gladiolus. As soon as I see a change, I'll let you know. I promise."
