Gladio was very much unconscious and all it would take was a touch to feel that he was burning hot to the touch, far more than was safe. There was sweat heavy on his brow and worse, there was some sort of black spread from under his jacket that started where he had been stabbed earlier by the beast they had fought.
Worst of all, it was dark, with only the moonlight over head. They were in deep trouble.
