Gladio's speed didn't slow down. He had Ignis in his sights and he set his teeth hard as he came up fast. There was no weapon in his hands but he also wasn't approaching like he had ever before... nor was it like him to just come up and attack without warning. Not when they were people who could quite literally summon a weapon from nothing and had every right to be jumpy while the Empire was hunting their group.
